What Grounds Maintenance services do you provide?
We understand that homeowners take pride in the appearance of their surroundings, which is why we schedule regular inspections to assess the common areas. To ensure the grounds are properly maintained, our developments typically have summer and winter maintenance contracts with an appointed grounds maintenance contractor.
Summer contracts, running from April to October, generally includes 16 visits by the grounds team. During this period, tasks such as grass cutting, edging, adjusting tree ties and stakes, controlling moss and weeds on common paths, deadheading, removing dead plants or stems, and maintaining wild areas in accordance with their intended design will be completed.
Winter contracts, running from November to March, consists of 5 visits. These visits focus on leaf collection and removal, adjusting tree stakes and tie-backs, hedge/shrub cutting and shaping, as well as rotovating, forking, and breaking up soil where necessary.
Throughout the year, maintenance teams will also complete a litter pick, emptying of litter bins, and report any tree-related issues to Ross and Liddell for potential attention by a qualified tree surgeon.
Our ground maintenance specification outlines what services you can expect throughout the year.
