I have received a letter about a tree survey, what is the purpose of a tree survey?

Tree surveys should be carried out regularly to ensure any dead, diseased or dangerous trees are identified within common areas. Home owners within a development are responsible for the safety of the residents and visitors to the development. There may be instances whereby we must take immediate action and instruct works in the event a tree is deemed as a safety risk to the public. Otherwise we will write to owners to notify you of any proposed works to maintain the trees in the common areas. Trees within your private garden are your responsibility.
