Ross & Liddell Announces Key Appointment to its Building Surveying Department

 


Property services company Ross + Liddell has announced a key appointment to its building surveying department with the appointment of Crawford Cumming, an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor.
 
Having worked in both Local Authority and private practice, latterly with Land Securities Trillium servicing its BBC account, Mr Cumming brings a wealth of experience to the firm.
 
Welcoming Mr Cumming to the firm, Gerry Gilroy, head of Ross + Liddell's building surveying department, said, 'I'm pleased to welcome Crawford to the company. He has already been closely involved in grant aided, tenement major repairs, and a variety of other work awaits him, including preparing and negotiating schedules of dilapidations, insurance damage reinstatement, refurbishments, fire insurance assessments and a lot more.'
 
Said Mr Cumming, 'I'm delighted to have joined such an established and progressive firm as Ross + Liddell and look forward to playing a key part in the development of its building surveying department.'
 
Having recently concluded its 150th anniversary celebrations, Ross + Liddell currently employs a staff of 80 from offices in Glasgow, Paisley and Edinburgh. Company turnover is approaching £3 million.
 
Recent years have seen the firm expand the range of residential and commercial property services it provides, including property management, estate agency, surveys, valuations, rent reviews, lettings, insurance and building surveying.
