Ian Tupman Appointed to Ross + Liddell’s Building Services Department

Ross + Liddell, the property people, have appointed Ian Tupman to its expanding building surveying department based in Paisley.

A chartered building surveyor with more than 20 years post-qualification experience, Mr Tupman brings to the firm a wealth of professional experience in such areas as pre-acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidations claims and residential building surveys.

A former associate director of Eddisons, Leeds and Bradford, where he established, developed and managed the building surveying department within a multi-disciplinary firm of property surveyors, in 2003 Mr Tupman created his own business based in the Granada province of Spain where he carried out residential building surveys.

Or his appointment, Mr Tupman said, “I’m pleased to be joining a firm with such an established reputation in the property sector at what is undoubtedly an exciting time for its burgeoning building surveying department. I’m confident that my experience will complement well the existing skills base of Ross + Liddell’s building services department.”

Ross + Liddell currently employs a staff of 80 from offices in Glasgow, Paisley and Edinburgh. Company turnover is in excess of £3.3 million. Recent years have seen the firm expand the range of residential and commercial property services it provides, including property management, estate agency, surveys, valuations, rent reviews, letting, insurance and building surveying.
